I missed the first meeting. Can I still join?

Yes! You can become an AMA member at any time. Complete these steps to become an official member, or just fill out our application form so you can be added to our email list to stay up-to-date with all of our upcoming events! If you'd like to check out AMA before becoming an official member, you're welcome to check out our About AMA FSU page, or attend our general body meetings and see what AMA is all about before making your decision.

How do I become a member?

We have a page to explain the process! Basically, you'll need to fill out our application form and pay the AMA-FSU dues. Then, you'll head to the official AMA website to become a national member, which is $29 for the year. And with that, you're an official member! You can become an official member at any time, so don't worry if you've missed a few meetings.

How do I know when your next meeting is?

You can find all of our next meetings on our calendar page, event highlight on IG, through our emails, or on any of our social media platforms!

Can I still go to general body meetings if I'm not a member?

Accepted Answer

Yes! Our general body meetings are open to the public. However, if you would like to come on our trips, corporate tours, recruiter dinners, or be a part of Seminole Solutions or Case Competiton, you must be an official member.

Is it beneficial to join as a freshman?

Accepted Answer

Yes! You get hands-on experience, get to know people in the same field as you, and get an overall idea of whether or not this is the major for you.

Can I join AMA even if I'm not a marketing major?

Yes! We're open to ALL majors.

No experience needed to join or apply for a leadership position!
