Rockwood Regional Conference

On February 19th, 2026, the American Marketing Association at FSU hosted its 4th Annual Spring Rockwood Regional Conference!

With over 200 students in attendance, the event brought together passionate and driven individuals from across the region to compete in marketing competitions, hear from inspiring industry speakers, and connect with business professionals. The conference created an exciting environment for learning, networking, and professional growth, and truly showcased the strength of our business community.

Strategy Contest

Participants receive a one-page mini case outlining a company's marketing challenge and have 30 minutes to develop and present a solution to a judging panel.

Adobe Digital Ad Design Challenge

A one-hour competition designed to test creative and branding skills through a real-world design challenge.

Pitch Contest

A 90-second interview-style competition where participants present two to three key selling points that demonstrate why they are an ideal candidate and how their qualifications support their pitch.

Sales Role Play Contest

A head-to-head competition that challenges participants to demonstrate their ability to communicate value and successfully close a sale.

*Prompts for marketing strategy, design strategy, perfect pitch, and sales will not be given in advance. Design strategy’s prompt is given during the competition.

Our 2025-2026 President of FSU's AMA Chapter, Sarah Marllow, who graduates Spring 2026, was thrilled to announce FSU's 2025-2026 AMA President, Hailey Miser, who will proudly take on this new role!

The conference officially begins with a welcome address.

10:30 AM

Morning competitions begin, including Sales and Marketing Strategy.
