CASE COMPETITION
What is Case Competition?
During this semester long competition, our AMA team will collaborate to develop a full marketing plan for a sponsoring Fortune 500 company. Members gain hands-on experience in marketing strategy, research, graphic design, and copywriting. This competition helps build skills needed for members' future careers.

The Sheth Foundation is a non-profit organization whose mission is to develop & recognize scholars & scholarship in marketing globally & further the development of marketing thought.
They support the academic scholarship, publications, education, and research of tax-exempt, publicly-supported educational organizations, primarily focusing on the discipline of marketing, by providing support to grant-awarding Recipient Organizations.
GRAPHIC DESIGN TEAM
Developing the theme of the final draft submission
Transform ideas from members into graphics
(mainly those from strategy/research)
MARKET RESEARCH TEAM
Responsible for primary & secondary data search
Analyze & draw conclusions from primary data
Create surveys & brainstorm distribution route
Conduct focus groups
Research financial forecast and budget campaign

MARKET STRATEGY TEAM
Create marketing strategy & campaign
Create future plan
Budget the campaign

COPYWRITING TEAM
Compile and edit all drafts of the case
Complete the final written draft submission
Create financial report
Students choose which of the 4 teams they will work with based on their interests, and have the opportunity to be a Team Director or Team Member! Director interviews and decisions will come out after our first interest meeting.
No experience is necessary to join, or to become a director!
