Director Positions

Director of Event Management

  • Strategize, plan, and execute a diverse range of events that align with the organization’s objective and target audience.

  • Oversee the smooth execution of plans and manage on-site logistics. 

  • Assist the VP in coordinating with engaging speakers for General Body Meetings while simultaneously maintaining positive relationships to ensure a diverse and informative lineup of presenters. 

Director of Fundraising

  • Foster relationships with local businesses to host fundraisers.

  • Maintain alumni relations and develop new ones to increase network of donors and partners.

  • Help manage the budget and track dues paying members.

Director of Media

  • Take photos and videos at all General Body Meetings, events, tabling, competitions, and conferences

  • Working with VP on creating and editing both Recruitment and Community Impact videos

  • Creating editing guide for photography for website and social media.

Director of Campus Outreach

  • Maintain consistent communication with faculty and other student organizations around FSU’s campus.

  • Find collaboration opportunities with faculty and/or student organizations for event opportunities.

  • Create an in-class speaking schedule alongside Membership Directors.

Director of Chapter Relations

  • Maintain communications and relations with other national AMA Collegiate Chapters,

  • Find competition and conference opportunities offered by other chapters and share with our FSU members.

  • Share our opportunities with other collegiate chapters as well!

Director of Sponsorships

  • Develop and implement strategic strategies to attract and secure sponsorship partnerships with external organizations.

  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing sponsors and provide them with regular updates on the impact of their support.

Director of Alumni Relations

  • Organize and coordinate alumni engagement initiatives, such as corporate tours, conferences, socials, and events.

  • Form and maintain AMA alumni relationships

  • Deepen relations with alumni that are in present contact

Director of Social Media

  • Run engagement on social media platforms, including interacting with other College of Business Clubs, opportunities on campus, and more.

  • Collaborate with VP on creating graphics and FSUAMA Brand through website and social media.

  • Organize graphic wars opportunities, social media calendars, and posting schedules

Director of Web Development

  • Update website with all information on new Directors joining.

  • Update Google Calendar Link for all events available to members.

  • Organize our LinkTree and website for easiest navigation. Update any new forms, media, and information steadily throughout the year. 

Director of Recruitment

Director of Member Retention

  • Create and institute a tabling schedule with the help of VP of Membership.

  • Achieve the organization’s recruitment goals.

  • Implement new techniques to recruit more members.

  • Develop and implement member retention strategies including but not limited to, creating ice breakers for all AMA events and meetings. 

  • Collect and analyze feedback from fellow members to identify areas for improvement ensuring the chapter continuously evolves. 

  • Recognize and celebrate member achievements and contributions to maintain a culture of appreciation and recognition.

Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

  • Develop and implement a DEI strategy for AMA that aligns with the goals and mission of the organization.

  • Plan and conduct workshops with other DEI driven organizations in order to raise awareness and promote inclusivity.

  • Collaborate with other campus organizations and/or external partners to foster a diverse and inclusive network.

Director of Conference Management

  • Work with the VP to plan, execute, and run our in-person Spring Regional Conference.

  • Find speakers, organize competitions, and set up sponsor tabling for the event.

Case Comp Directors

  • Separate application done within case competition team

Account Managers

  • Communicate with assigned business and organize marketing activities for a team of Account Coordinators to execute.
